A Garage Door Company Built Around Your Home’s Style
A stuck, noisy, or damaged door can disrupt daily access and affect the security and appearance of your home. We provide repair, installation, and opener services for attached and detached residential garages. Before recommending a solution, our technicians diagnose the underlying problem and assess how the door, opener, and related components work together.
Call (260) 269-2632 to schedule a free consultation and discuss the right solution for your garage.
Our Fort Wayne services cover the door, opener, and ways to make the space more useful:
Garage Door Repair and Replacement: We address existing system problems and explain when replacement may be more suitable than repair.
Garage Door Installation: We install new and replacement doors with attention to system configuration and the home’s architecture.
Garage Door Openers: We install openers that are compatible with the door and its operating requirements.
Our recommendations reflect the system’s condition, the home’s needs, and how the space is used. We work with products from established door and opener manufacturers.
We’re locally owned and operated and part of the Access network, which has roots dating to 2005. We apply those standards to homes throughout Fort Wayne, from historic neighborhoods to modern subdivisions.
Serving Fort Wayne’s Historic & Alley-Access Homes
We serve Fort Wayne, New Haven, Columbia City, and surrounding communities. Local neighborhoods include Craftsman and Colonial Revival houses as well as ranch-style homes, each with different architectural considerations.
Door style can carry real weight on these properties because a flat modern panel may look out of place on a decades-old home. Access conditions may also affect planning for detached garages reached by Fort Wayne’s mapped alleys. We consider the garage configuration, available access, and the home’s architecture when discussing door and opener options.
Repair, Replacement, or an Opener Upgrade
During a free consultation, our technicians examine the existing system and explain whether repair, replacement, or an opener upgrade is the more appropriate option. The recommendation accounts for both function and architectural fit.
Repair may be appropriate when the existing system can be restored safely. Replacement may make more sense when its condition, compatibility, appearance, or repeated problems point to a new system. Opener recommendations account for the door, the opener’s condition, and relevant safety features.
We explain the observed problem and proposed work before we begin, including any compatibility or safety considerations. We then maintain clear communication through completion.
Technicians Trained Across Major Garage Door Brands
Ongoing training keeps our technicians current across a range of door and opener brands. This knowledge informs repairs, opener work, and installations for attached and detached garages.
Our residential installation coverage includes:
Every residential installation we complete is covered by a Limited Lifetime Installation Warranty.
We install and service doors and openers from LiftMaster, Clopay, Amarr, CHI, Genie, Wayne Dalton, Linear, and Sommer.

Back up and running by noon!
Had a spring break late yesterday. Last time this happened it took 2-3 days to repair, was very inconvenient, and my previous vendor went out of business.
I looked online and found Access Garage Doors of Fort Wayne. I did an online inquiry on their website pretty late, stating what I needed and that I would call in the AM. I had got up early to do some office work and I got a text at 6 AM! I was so shocked I didn't even put it together that it was Access already. We worked out a time and by noon I was back up and running. The repair only took 30-45 minutes. They even went as far as showing me why it broke, what caused it, how to prevent, etc. They also were very transparent in pricing and advised options. Very professional.
Would highly recommend.
I don't plan to use them again… because they did such a good job it won't break again. Haha!
Thanks again guys.
Mick Gerber

Dustin saved the day!
Dustin saved the day! On a Sunday morning, our garage door had a spring break, leaving my van stuck in the garage. Dustin was very quick to respond and worked around our schedule. We are so grateful for him and his business.

Very Fair and Easy to Work With
Determined that my 25-year-old operator was unrepairable. Home warranty gave a replacement allowance that was lower than a new install. I elected to use the allowance and additional funds to install a better quality unit. Dustin was willing to install a lower quality unit if necessary, however I selected his base unit. He was very fair and easy to work with.

Service That's Unmatched
If you're reading Google customer reviews, kudos for doing your homework. Our family's experience was so overwhelmingly positive we wouldn't consider using anyone else, regardless of what was promised.
Our garage door, and the door rails, were damaged the night before Easter. It left our door partially down and stuck at an odd angle, leaving us no way to move it up or down. I looked at area garage door businesses online that night promising quick service, 100% customer satisfaction, and low prices. When I read Google customer reviews, though, Access Garage Doors stood out to me. Every review I read was positive, and most reviews kept mentioning someone named "Dustin," thanking him for all he did. Being that it was Saturday night, I shot off an email late that Saturday night detailing our damaged door and asked Access Garage Doors to contact us when they could for a quote. Less than 15 minutes later, late Saturday night on a holiday weekend, I got a call from Dustin! He said he read my email and was concerned we had a vehicle stuck in our garage knowing Easter was the next morning, and offered to help at least get it out tonight if we needed the car for Easter. What garage door business does that?! None - that's who. If you want a positive experience with extremely competitive prices and service that's unmatched - I can't recommend this business enough! I can't tell you how many of our neighbors have complimented us on how nice our house looks now!

Above and Beyond Is an Understatement
Above and beyond is an understatement! Service, costs, professionalism, and kindness were all exceptional. We bought a new house and the garage door went out hours before the moving company was to show up. They were quick to come over and got everything fixed and replaced before movers got here. Grateful is an understatement.
