Garage Door Repair and Installation in Chattanooga
A Garage Door Company Homes and Businesses Count On
Chattanooga homeowners have trusted Access with their garage doors since 2005. From a broken spring or malfunctioning opener to a complete garage door replacement, Access Garage Door & More of Chattanooga provides local garage door service built around honest recommendations, quality workmanship, and doing the job right, with technicians who diagnose the problem before quoting a fix.
Our crew covers the door, the opener, and everything attached to them:
Garage Door Repair & Replacement
Garage Door Installation
Garage Door Openers
Garage Door Screen Installation
Overhead Storage Solutions
Screens, Shades & Vinyl Enclosures
Commercial Garage Door Services
Our founder, Jesse Cox, opened the first Access location right here in 2005, years before the brand grew into a national franchise. Every job since has run on honest recommendations, quality workmanship, and technicians trained on the products they install.
Garage Door Service From Historic Streets to New Builds
Our technicians work across Chattanooga, Hixson, Soddy-Daisy, Red Bank, East Brainerd, Lookout Mountain, Signal Mountain, Harrison, Ooltewah, and Dunlap, covering historic homes near the city core through the new construction going up east of town. Older openings here can sometimes need a custom-ordered door rather than a standard size, and we can tell you which one yours takes.
Free Estimates and Financing Options
If you cannot tell whether your door needs repair, a full garage door replacement, or an opener upgrade, a free estimate will settle it. A technician walks the system with you, explains the options in plain terms, and reviews financing on larger projects.
Ready to stop wrestling with your garage door? Schedule service online or call us at (423) 225-8621 to get on the schedule.
Same-Day Service and Honest Answers
Most repair calls here are scheduled the same day you call, and our estimates are free with no pressure. You hear what the door needs and what the work involves before a wrench comes out, which is why so many of our five-star reviews come from neighbors a few streets away.
Technicians With Over 100 Combined Years of Experience
Our team brings more than 100 combined years of garage door experience to the trucks rolling out each morning. Every technician works across all makes and models and trains on new products on an ongoing basis.
We inspect the whole system, springs, cables, rollers, tracks, and openers, before recommending a fix.
Our trucks arrive stocked, so most repairs finish on the first visit.
Maintenance plans keep doors moving on rentals, commercial buildings, and homes with multiple bays.
Every completed residential installation carries a Limited Lifetime Installation Warranty.
Clopay, LiftMaster, and the Brands We Install
We are an authorized Clopay dealer and install and service LiftMaster, Amarr, CHI, Genie, Wayne Dalton, Linear, and Sommer products, so the door you hear about is the one that fits your home, not the one that's easiest to stock. Custom and rush door orders are available when a standard size will not work.

Access Is My Forevermore Garage Door Vendor
I called Access Garage Door at 10:30 a.m. I spoke with a representative over the phone. My first contact was fantastic. The gentleman was very professional. He said I would have a technician at my home by the next day. Zack called first thing the next morning as promised. Zack was at my home promptly within 10 minutes. Zack asked a few basic questions, and when I opened the garage door and he heard the roar from it, he exactly knew why he was here. By the time he was done, that garage door was as quiet as a mouse. I got what I paid for: professional and customer-friendly service from all at Access Garage Door. Zack did an outstanding job from start to finish, explaining the process. He took his time, and when he finished, he thoroughly explained all the warranties and maintenance of the door. Zack was a pleasure to work with. He had a calm approach from beginning to end. I would rather have him at all my jobs in the future. Access is my forevermore garage door vendor. Thanks a lot, Access Garage Door!

I would have given 10 stars if I could!
I would have given 10 stars if I could! I was very happy with the repair and service I got from Access Garage Doors and More of Chattanooga. I had a broken spring on my garage door late at night and was able to schedule a visit for the next morning for an estimate. An appointment was made and I received a text with the arrival expectation. Lawrence was our service technician. He arrived on time and quickly assessed the door to provide the best solution. He was polite, respectful of our home, and quickly got the parts to replace the broken spring. He went above and beyond the replacement by adjusting the motor tension and lubricating the rollers on the tracks and checking the overall operation of the garage door system. The door is several decades old and he gave us an estimate on replacement options for future consideration. I can't say enough good things about our experience and would highly recommend Lawrence and Access Garage Doors for repair, replacement or installation. We will definitely be calling them for help when we are ready to replace our system.

Access Garage Doors comes through again!
Access Garage Doors comes through again! Our 15+ year-old, two-car-wide garage door had begun making creaking, popping, and scraping noises when opening/closing. I noticed one of the rollers had even moved outside its track. Access came the same day I called, showed me how the rollers, springs, cables, etc. were beginning to fail due to age/use. I saw the need to replace these parts, and the technician completed the job in just an hour. While here, the tech also checked the door's operating cycle and lubed all moving parts. We've been an Access customer for more than 20 years. Their dependable installation and service quality have earned this loyalty.

Jesse Cox is a lifelong Chattanoogan and the founder and CEO of Access Garage Door & More. Raised in Red Bank and Hixson, Jesse developed a passion for hard work at an early age, balancing multiple jobs while still in high school before launching Access in 2005 with just $5 in his pocket, countless late nights on job sites, and a determination to build a company Chattanooga could be proud of.
More than two decades later, Jesse still owns and operates the original Chattanooga location, which serves as the national headquarters for the Access brand. Since launching franchising in 2019, Access has grown to nearly 30 individually owned locations across the United States, all modeled after the original hometown business.
Despite the growth, Jesse still says, "I own this lil' ol' garage door company called Access." He believes staying humble and serving people with honesty, integrity, and quality workmanship are the reasons Access has earned the trust of generations of Chattanooga families.
