Access Garage Doors has acquired Knoxville-based Williams Door Company’s Chattanooga operations.
A fourth-generation company founded in 1971, Williams Door Company is a provider of residential, commercial, and industrial overhead garage doors based in Knoxville, with an established presence in the Chattanooga market for over 15 years.
Access Garage Doors president and CEO Jesse Cox said, “As we thought about acquiring the Chattanooga office of Williams Door Company, we explored the similarities between our companies and found a shared commitment of providing high quality products and the best care to customers for over a decade and half. We’re excited to continue this legacy of high-level service to their existing area customers, as well as expand our services to new customers through this acquisition.”
Since 2005, Access Garage Doors has led the way for garage door and electric opener services in the Southeast. As a top-ranking authorized dealer for Clopay, LiftMaster, Amarr, and Genie products, Access employs nearly 20 individuals who are experienced and well-trained in installing and servicing residential and commercial garage door systems.
“As a top-tier Clopay dealer, the Access name is very trusted in our industry,” said Williams Door Company president Scott Williams. “We know our Chattanooga-area customers will be in great hands and we will continue to work in tandem with Access to ensure all of our customers are taken care of.”
In order to ensure an easy transition, Access will retain Williams Door Company’s Chattanooga phone number, so current Williams customers are able to call the same number. All current warranties will continue to be honored and serviced by Access.
